Adhira Menon is a third-year law student in Gujarat National Law University pursuing BSc. LLB (Hons.). She has a myriad of interests ranging from international law to physics. Having a specific curiosity in the cosmos of International Humanitarian Law, International Human Rights Law and International Criminal Law, she aspires to become an international attorney working in the same fields and perhaps one day pursue legal academia. She has previously had her articles published in reputed blogs like Oxford Human Rights Hub, Indian Journal of Law and International Affairs and Cambridge Journal of International Law Blog. She is a strong believer in the notion that the initiation of change in the society begins with thoughtful, analytical and critical discussions and thereby recognises the potential role of legal literature in kindling societal change. Apart from her academic interests, she is an avid reader who loves to travel and never passes up an opportunity to explore new places.
